Darley stands top-class thoroughbred stallions in the UK, Ireland, France, Australia, America and Japan
Currently heading the line-up of 14 thoroughbred stallions at Dalham Hall in Newmarket, UK, is Dubawi, one of the world’s most successful stallions. Golden Horn joined the roster in 2015 after a superb racing campaign including victory in the world-famous Epsom Derby.
Kildangan Stud in County Kildare, Ireland, is now home to 15 stallions, including leading sires Shamardal and Teofilo.
Darley also stands stallions at Godolphin’s Jonabell Farm, located in the famous bluegrass state of Kentucky in the United States. The roster includes two of America’s leading stallions, Medaglia d’Oro and Bernardini, together with Street Cry’s son Street Sense – the only horse ever to win both the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and Kentucky Derby.
Darley in Australia was established in 2001. It comprises several properties located in the leading thoroughbred breeding regions of New South Wales and Victoria. Darley’s Australian studs stand a roster of stallions that includes Champion sire Exceed And Excel, who also stands at Dalham Hall. Other selected stallions travel here from Darley’s northern hemisphere studs.
Darley has a racehorse breeding stud in Japan which currently stands six stallions, including triple G1 winner and Horse of the Year Admire Moon.
