A SELECTION OF GRADUATES:

BAO Qiuxin

Qiuxin was born in Inner Mongolia and has associated with horses closely since childhood. He has been race-riding and is now working as the second stable jockey of Beijing Huihai International Horse Industry Ltd.

CHEN Li

Educated in Hubei, Li has been working for the Wuhan Jockey Club as a riding member since graduating from Wuhan Commercial Service College in 2012.

Hanteri

Born in 1993, he is from Inner Mongolia. Throughout the course, he was polite, hard working and always followed instructions well. Hunter was consistently the fittest member of the group and his final fitness test showed a significant improvement. He rode out for Godolphin, where the trainer reported that he was happy with Hunter’s riding ability.

HU Fangjun

Fangjun was born in Hubei. He has been working for Wuhan Jockey Club since 2006 and takes part in bi-weekly racing during the season. One of his biggest achievements was finishing third in the WJC International Jockey Invitation Race in 2012.

HU Xiaoping

Xiaoping is from Hunan. As a son of a trainer, Hu Xiaoping has always been close to horses. After a spell in Guangzhou, Hu rejoined the horse industry and became a riding member at Wuhan Jockey Club since July 2011. He is in the process of gaining an apprentice license.

LI Fangge

Li is from Hubei. He joined Wuhan Jockey Club in 2006 and has taken part in bi-weekly racing (Chinese-bred ponies). He has won no less than 50 races in Wuhan.

LIU Xue

Xue is from Hubei. He joined Wuhan Jockey Club in 2006 and has become one of the more established jockeys in the club.

QIN Yong

Yong was born in Hubei. He studied at the Wuhan Commercial Service College and has served his jockey apprenticeship at Wuhan Jockey Club since 2009. He spent 2012 at Selangor Turf Club in Malaysia for working experience.

SHU Lan

Lan is from Hubei. She has been working for the Wuhan Jockey Club as a riding member since graduating from Wuhan Commercial Service College in 2012. She aims to be the first female jockey in China.

XU Jinjie

Originally from Hubei Province, he is 23 years old. His riding coach had very high expectations of him following a successful spell at the BRS in 2014 and on his return, he rode well and was given some challenging horses, with whom he coped well. He has worked really hard to improve his English and can now take instructions with confidence. During the course, he had the opportunity to ride out for Godolphin, who reported that they were happy with his riding.
